  • Friends of The Hope		 Thank you for your interest in giving one of our animals a home. Please read over our brief adoption
guidelines.
  We love these animals and reserve the right to refuse the adoption of any animal
to a home that we feel does not meet our standards.

We don't charge an adoption fee, but we do ask you to consider a donation.
All animals must be spayed or neutered before adoption.

Applicants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian apply on
their behalf.

Requirements:
• A fenced in backyard (for dogs)
• Lots of love!
• A donation *Optional (These fees go directly to The HOPE Sanctuary to help pay for the upkeep and
• medical care of our animals).


Note: If you are bringing an additional dog to your household. Introduce your existing dog and the
new dog outside your property. Find a quiet area so the dogs can get acquainted without feeling
territorial and stressed out. Have another person bring along the new dog.

Try to be calm and give the dogs a good hour to make friend. Always praise your dog if he behaves
positively to the new dog. Greet and Feed your existing dog first away from the newcomer.
