calm, very loving
and exceptionally attentive with humans. A real
snuggly, cuddly fellow. A confident,
assertive and smart boy. A real
thinker – a dog with a million expressions, eyes that
that portrays an old
soul. Mika has a personality that literally glows – a truly loveable, likeable

great with other dogs – playful, highly energetic and

lounging on the bed, relaxing on the couch watching
TV. Being a self-
sufficient street dog, he is also very much a free sprit and truly
enjoys
the outdoors. A bit of a chaser so not great with cats and other small
creatures.

BACKGROUND: Owned by Americans who left the island and passed him
onto friends. Friends
who left him on the street to fend for himself. He
ended up being cared for by an English
lady. She had to leave the island
so Mika is now at The Hope awaiting a new home.

SUGGESTED OWNER: Would suit any loving individual, couple or family
– ideally with another
dog (of the same playful temperament) for
companionship. To live as an indoor ‘on your
bed’ kinda dog with the
option of going outside. Being that Mika loves being walked and
going to
the beach, would be great if owners were active people. Must have fully
enclosed
large area for exercise – boundaries must be secure and a
minimum of 6ft high as Mika is
a high jumper.
