Baby monkeys were snatched from their mothers and rescued by foreigners

Jul 16, 2007

These baby monkeys were snatched from their mothers just days ago. Two caring people "foreigners" rescued them in separate
situations by paying the "yutes" the going rate of $200.00 for each one.

Both baby monkeys are being cared for until they can be let back into the wild. This is an issue which needs to be raised as they
should be left in the wild where they belong. These creatures are clearly being exploited and all the monkeys have going for
them is a bounty of $50.00 for their tails!!

This is Alfie. He is looked after by Diana who is a veterinary
nurse and we hope to introduce him back into the wild soon.

UPDATES:
Alfie and the new puppy Davy. Davy came in very frightened
and Alfie comforted him and finally made him come out of his
shell.
The 2 orphans are very much in love now.

Thomas the cat was no push over either. But Alfie's
perseverance won the day.
