The Hope Sanctuary has just moved to new premises. For the last 5 years, our progression has been excessively limited
due to the lack of adequate funding. But now, with the help of our new fundraising department, we are envisaging a
successful and progressive future ahead. Our new customized care facilities will be an essential asset to Barbados and will
greatly improve the quality of life for animals. |

After two years of searching, Cornelia Coulthrust, President and Founder of The Hope Sanctuary, finally found the ideal
location. This new property will offer increased and improved housing facilities plus adding additional exercise, training
and care areas. It is easily accessible to the public and will provide a wider range of services to our animals as well as to
local pet owners.
This is our biggest fundraising appeal to date and urgently need to raise US$39,000 for our move. That's 75 people
donating US$500 each. We will appreciate all donations, however big or small to assist us with this campaign. We are also
requesting donations of building materials to construct the dog kennels, the cattery and fencing areas. Perhaps you have
old furniture or household appliances you could donate? If you are experienced at construction work or would like to assist
with the build - your time will be greatly appreciated. Being that we will be increasing our housing capacity, we will
continual require items from our 'wish list' below.

The property is Hope House on Hope Road in St. George. Just at the top of Gun Hill and very easy to find. Our new
customized care facilities will be an essential asset to Barbados and will greatly improve the quality of life for animals.
The new premises will offer:
• Shelter for 70 Dogs and 30 Cats

• Dog Training & Behavior Rehabilitation Centre

• Clinic open to low income pet owners. Many dogs have medical conditions and injuries which are left untreated due to

unaffordable pet fees - we want to help with this.
